In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Satish Kumar Gautam of BJP won in this seat defeating Dr Ajeet Baliyan of BSP by a margin of 2,29,261 votes which was 19.71% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 56.38% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Satish Kumar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Arvind Kumar Singh of BSP by a margin of 2,86,736 votes which was 26.94% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 48.35% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Raj Kumari Chauhan of BSP won this seat beating Zafar Alam of SP by a margin of 16,557 votes which was 2.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 27.93% in the seat.
