In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Devendra Singh 'Bhole' of BJP won in this seat defeating Nisha Sachan of BSP by a margin of 2,75,142 votes which was 26.83% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 56.62% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Devendra Singh @ Bhole Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Anil Shukla Warsi of BSP by a margin of 2,78,997 votes which was 28.72% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 49.58% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Rajaram Pal of INC won this seat beating Anil Shukla Warsi of BSP by a margin of 32,043 votes which was 5.03% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 30.2% in the seat.
