In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, B B Patil of TRS won in this seat defeating Madan Mohan Rao of INC by a margin of 6,229 votes which was 0.6% of the total votes cast for the seat. TRS had a vote share of 41.57% in 2019 in this seat.
