In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Venkatesh Netha Borlakunta of TRS won in this seat defeating Agam Chandrasekhar of INC by a margin of 95,180 votes which was 9.81% of the total votes cast for the seat. TRS had a vote share of 45.49% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Balka Suman of TRS emerged victorious in this seat beating G Vivekanand of INC by a margin of 2,91,158 votes which was 29.26% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TRS secured a vote share of 56.82% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, G Vivekanand of INC won this seat beating Gomasa Srinivas of TRS by a margin of 49,017 votes which was 5.41% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 34.66% in the seat.
