In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Kavitha Malothu of TRS won in this seat defeating Balaram Naik Porika of INC by a margin of 1,46,663 votes which was 14.91% of the total votes cast for the seat. TRS had a vote share of 46.98% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Azmeera Seetaram Naik of TRS emerged victorious in this seat beating P Balram of INC by a margin of 34,992 votes which was 3.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TRS secured a vote share of 28.51% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, P Balram of INC won this seat beating Kunja Srinivasa Rao of CPI by a margin of 68,957 votes which was 6.91% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.53% in the seat.
