In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Soyam Bapu Rao of BJP won in this seat defeating Godam Nagesh of TRS by a margin of 58,560 votes which was 5.51% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 35.47% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Godam Nagesh of TRS emerged victorious in this seat beating Naresh of INC by a margin of 1,71,290 votes which was 16.38% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TRS secured a vote share of 41.2% in the seat.
In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Rathod Ramesh of TDP won this seat beating Kotnak Ramesh of INC by a margin of 1,15,087 votes which was 13.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TDP had a vote share of 43.08% in the seat.
