In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Om Birla of BJP won in this seat defeating Ramnarain Meena of INC by a margin of 2,79,677 votes which was 20.46% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 58.49% in 2019 in this seat.
