In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat of BJP won in this seat defeating Vaibhav Gehlot of INC by a margin of 2,74,440 votes which was 20.39% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 58.53% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Gajendrasingh Shekhawat of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Chandresh Kumari of INC by a margin of 4,10,051 votes which was 38.02% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 66.15% in the seat.
