In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Dushyant Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Pramod Sharma of INC by a margin of 4,53,928 votes which was 33.14% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 64.77% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Dushyant Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Pramod Bhaya of INC by a margin of 2,81,546 votes which was 24.56% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 58.98% in the seat.
