In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Devaji Patel of BJP won in this seat defeating Ratan Devasi of INC by a margin of 2,61,110 votes which was 19.18% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 56.76% in 2019 in this seat.
