In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Ramcharan Bohra of BJP won in this seat defeating Jyoti Khandelwal of INC by a margin of 4,30,626 votes which was 29.57% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 63.44% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Ramcharan Bohara of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Mahesh Joshi of INC by a margin of 5,39,345 votes which was 41.59% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 66.58% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Mahesh Joshi of INC won this seat beating Ghanshyam Tiwari of BJP by a margin of 16,099 votes which was 1.98% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 48.88% in the seat.
