In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Nihal Chand of BJP won in this seat defeating Bharat Ram Meghwal of INC by a margin of 4,06,978 votes which was 28.03% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 61.74% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Nihalchand of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal of INC by a margin of 2,91,741 votes which was 23.08% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 52.08% in the seat.
In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Bharat Ram Meghwal of INC won this seat beating Nihal Chand of BJP by a margin of 1,40,668 votes which was 15.46% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 52.39% in the seat.
