In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Chandra Prakash Joshi of BJP won in this seat defeating Gopal Singh Shekhawat of INC by a margin of 5,76,247 votes which was 39.5% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 67.36% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Chandra Prakash Joshi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Girija Vyas of INC by a margin of 3,16,857 votes which was 27.02% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 59.97% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Girija Vyas of INC won this seat beating Shrichand Kriplani of BJP by a margin of 72,778 votes which was 9.15% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 50.25% in the seat.
