In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Subhash Chandra Baheria of BJP won in this seat defeating Ram Pal Sharma of INC by a margin of 6,12,000 votes which was 46.7% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 71.56% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Subhash Baheria of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ashok Chandna of INC by a margin of 2,46,264 votes which was 22.3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 57.09% in the seat.
