In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Amar Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Darbara Singh Guru of SAD by a margin of 93,898 votes which was 9.52% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 41.7% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Harinder Singh Khalsa of AAP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sadhu Singh of INC by a margin of 54,144 votes which was 5.25% of the total votes polled in the constituency. AAP secured a vote share of 35.63% in the seat.
