In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Basanta Kumar Panda of BJP won in this seat defeating Puspendra Singh Deo of BJD by a margin of 26,814 votes which was 2.18% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 35.18% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Arka Keshari Deo of BJD emerged victorious in this seat beating Pradipta Kumar Naik of BJP by a margin of 56,347 votes which was 5.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJD secured a vote share of 33.19% in the seat.
In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Bhakta Charan Das of INC won this seat beating Subash Chandra Nayak of BJD by a margin of 1,54,037 votes which was 15.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 41.03% in the seat.
