In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Agatha K Sangma of NPP won in this seat defeating Dr Mukul Sangma of INC by a margin of 64,030 votes which was 10.98% of the total votes cast for the seat. NPP had a vote share of 52.18% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Purno Agitok Sangma of NPP emerged victorious in this seat beating Daryl William Ch Momin of INC by a margin of 39,716 votes which was 8.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. NPP secured a vote share of 52.24% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Agatha K Sangma of NCP won this seat beating Debora C Marak of INC by a margin of 17,945 votes which was 5.24% of the total votes polled in the constituency. NCP had a vote share of 45.14% in the seat.
