In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Lorho S Pfoze of NPF won in this seat defeating Houlim Shokhopao Mate of BJP by a margin of 73,782 votes which was 8.6% of the total votes cast for the seat. NPF had a vote share of 42.27% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Thangso Baite of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Soso Lorho of NPF by a margin of 15,637 votes which was 2.03% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC secured a vote share of 38.45% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Thangso Baite of INC won this seat beating Mani Charenamei of PDA by a margin of 1,19,798 votes which was 15.78% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 45.39% in the seat.
