In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Sanjaykaka Patil of BJP won in this seat defeating Vishal Prakashbapu Patil of SWP by a margin of 1,64,352 votes which was 13.81% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 42.68% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Sanjaykaka Patil of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Patil Pratik Prakashbapu of INC by a margin of 2,39,292 votes which was 22.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 58.43% in the seat.
