In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Dr Shrikant Eknath Shinde of SS won in this seat defeating Babaji Balaram Patil of NCP by a margin of 3,44,343 votes which was 38.68% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 62.84% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Shrikant Eknath Shinde of SS emerged victorious in this seat beating Anand Prakash Paranjpe of NCP by a margin of 2,50,749 votes which was 30.42% of the total votes polled in the constituency. SS secured a vote share of 53.49% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Anand Prakash Paranjape of SS won this seat beating Davkhare Vasant Shankarrao of NCP by a margin of 24,202 votes which was 4.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. SS had a vote share of 38.99% in the seat.
