In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Hemant Patil of SS won in this seat defeating Wankhede Subhashrao Bapurao of INC by a margin of 2,77,856 votes which was 24% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 50.6% in 2019 in this seat.
