In 2014, Supriya Sule of NCP emerged victorious in this seat beating Mahadev Jagannath Jankar of RHSP by a margin of 69,719 votes which was 6.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. NCP secured a vote share of 48.79% in the seat.
