In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Dhotre Sanjay Shamrao of BJP won in this seat defeating Ambedkar (Adv) Prakash Yashwant of VBA by a margin of 2,75,596 votes which was 24.62% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49.5% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Dhotre Sanjay Shamrao of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Patel Hidayat Ulla Barkat Ulla of INC by a margin of 2,03,116 votes which was 20.76% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 46.65% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Dhotre Sanjay Shamrao of BJP won this seat beating Ambedkar Prakash Yashwant of BBM by a margin of 64,848 votes which was 8.77% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 38.89% in the seat.
