In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Rajbahadur Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Prabhu Singh Thakur of INC by a margin of 3,05,542 votes which was 29.46% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 62.29% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Laxmi Narayan Yadav of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Govind Singh Rajput of INC by a margin of 1,20,737 votes which was 13.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 54.11% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Bhupendra Singh of BJP won this seat beating Aslam Sher Khan of INC by a margin of 1,31,168 votes which was 23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 56.8% in the seat.
