In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Rodmal Nagar of BJP won in this seat defeating Mona Sustani of INC by a margin of 4,31,019 votes which was 34.2% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 65.33% in 2019 in this seat.
