In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Narendra Singh Tomar of BJP won in this seat defeating Ramniwas Rawat of INC by a margin of 1,13,341 votes which was 9.97% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 47.57% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Anoop Mishra of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Brindawan Singh Sikarwar of BSP by a margin of 1,32,981 votes which was 15.57% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 43.96% in the seat.
