In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Faggan Singh Kulaste of BJP won in this seat defeating Kamal Singh Maravi of INC by a margin of 97,674 votes which was 6.44% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 48.57% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Faggan Singh Kulaste of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Omkar Singh Markam of INC by a margin of 1,10,469 votes which was 9.07% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 48.07% in the seat.
