In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Gajendra Umrao Singh Patel of BJP won in this seat defeating Dr Govind Subhan Mujalda of INC by a margin of 2,02,510 votes which was 14.19% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 54.17% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Subhash Patel of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ramesh Patel of INC by a margin of 2,57,879 votes which was 22.38% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 56.34% in the seat.
