In the October 30, 2021 bypolls for Khandwa Lok Sabha constituency, Gyaneshwar Patil of BJP won from this seat defeating Rajnarayansingh Purni of INC by a margin of 82,140 votes which was 6.47% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49.85% in the bye-elections.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Nandkumar Singh Chouhan (Nandu Bhaiya) of BJP won in this seat defeating Arun Subhash Chandra Yadav of INC by a margin of 2,73,343 votes which was 18.62% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 57.14% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Nandkumar Singh Chouhan (Nandu Bhaiya) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Arun Subhash Chandra Yadav of INC by a margin of 2,59,714 votes which was 20.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 57.05% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Arun Subhashchandra Yadav of INC won this seat beating Nandkumar Sing Chauhan Nandu Bhaiya of BJP by a margin of 49,081 votes which was 6.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 48.48% in the seat.
