In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Shankar Lalwani of BJP won in this seat defeating Pankaj Sanghvi of INC by a margin of 5,47,754 votes which was 33.62% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 65.57% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Sumitra Mahajan (Tai) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Satyanarayan Patel of INC by a margin of 4,66,901 votes which was 35.46% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 64.93% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Sumitra Mahajan of BJP won this seat beating Satynarayan Patel of INC by a margin of 11,480 votes which was 1.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.76% in the seat.
