In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Pakauri Lal Kol of ADAL won in this seat defeating Bhai Lal of SP by a margin of 54,336 votes which was 5.5% of the total votes cast for the seat. ADAL had a vote share of 45.3% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Chhotelal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sharada Prasad of BSP by a margin of 1,90,486 votes which was 21.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 42.69% in the seat.
