In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Sangeeta Azad of BSP won in this seat defeating Neelam Sonker of BJP by a margin of 1,61,597 votes which was 16.82% of the total votes cast for the seat. BSP had a vote share of 53.98% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Neelam of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bechai Saroj of SP by a margin of 63,086 votes which was 7.02% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 36.06% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Baliram of BSP won this seat beating Neelam Sonkar of BJP by a margin of 39,948 votes which was 6.07% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 31.58% in the seat.
