In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Rajvir Diler of BJP won in this seat defeating Ramji Lal Suman of SP by a margin of 2,60,208 votes which was 22.62% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 59.43% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Rajesh Kumar Diwaker of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Manoj Kumar Soni of BSP by a margin of 3,26,386 votes which was 31.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 51.87% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Sarika Singh of RLD won this seat beating Rajendra Kumar of BSP by a margin of 36,852 votes which was 5.68% of the total votes polled in the constituency. RLD had a vote share of 38.23% in the seat.
