In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Dayakar Pasunoori of TRS won in this seat defeating Dommati Sambaiah of INC by a margin of 3,50,298 votes which was 33% of the total votes cast for the seat. TRS had a vote share of 57.69% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Kadiyam Srihari of TRS emerged victorious in this seat beating Rajaiah Siricilla of INC by a margin of 3,92,574 votes which was 33.42% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TRS secured a vote share of 56.33% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Rajaiah Siricilla of INC won this seat beating Ramagalla Parameshwar of TRS by a margin of 1,24,661 votes which was 12.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 38.46% in the seat.
