In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, G Kishan Reddy of BJP won in this seat defeating Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav of TRS by a margin of 62,114 votes which was 6.79% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 42.04% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Bandaru Dattatreya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating MAnjan Kumar Yadav of INC by a margin of 2,54,735 votes which was 24.64% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 42.4% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Anjan Kumar Yadav M of INC won this seat beating Bandaru Dattatreya of BJP by a margin of 1,70,167 votes which was 19.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.35% in the seat.
