In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Hanuman Beniwal of RLTP won in this seat defeating Dr Jyoti Mirdha of INC by a margin of 1,81,260 votes which was 15.07% of the total votes cast for the seat. RLTP had a vote share of 54.79% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, C R Choudhary of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Jyoti Mirdha of INC by a margin of 75,218 votes which was 7.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 41.31% in the seat.
