In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Kailash Choudhary of BJP won in this seat defeating Manvendra Singh of INC by a margin of 3,23,808 votes which was 22.77% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 59.49% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Col Sona Ram of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Jaswant Singh of IND by a margin of 87,461 votes which was 7.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 40.09% in the seat.
