In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Mohammad Sadique of INC won in this seat defeating Gulzar Singh Ranike of SAD by a margin of 83,256 votes which was 8.54% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 42.97% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Sadhu Singh of AAP emerged victorious in this seat beating Paramjit Kaur Gulshan of INC by a margin of 1,72,516 votes which was 17.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. AAP secured a vote share of 45.73% in the seat.
In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Paramjit Kaur Gulshan of SAD won this seat beating Sukhwinder Singh Danny of INC by a margin of 62,042 votes which was 6.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. SAD had a vote share of 49.16% in the seat.
