In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Nitesh Ganga Deb of BJP won in this seat defeating Nalini Kanta Pradhan of BJD by a margin of 9,162 votes which was 0.81% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 42.05% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Nagendra Kumar Pradhan of BJD emerged victorious in this seat beating Suresh Pujari of BJP by a margin of 30,576 votes which was 3.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJD secured a vote share of 36.43% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Amarnath Pradhan of INC won this seat beating Rohit Pujari of BJD by a margin of 14,874 votes which was 1.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 38.09% in the seat.
