In the October 21, 2019 bypolls for Satara Lok Sabha constituency, Shriniwas Dadasaheb Patil of NCP won from this seat defeating Shrimant Chh. Udyanraje Pratapsinhmaharaj Bhonsle of BJP by a margin of 87,717 votes which was 7.02% of the total votes cast for the seat. NCP had a vote share of 50.96% in the bye-elections.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Shrimant Chh Udayanraje Pratapsinhmaharaj Bhonsle of NCP won in this seat defeating Narendra Annasaheb Patil of SS by a margin of 1,26,528 votes which was 11.34% of the total votes cast for the seat. NCP had a vote share of 51.8% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Udayanraje Pratapsinha Bhonsale of NCP emerged victorious in this seat beating Purushottam Jadhav of IND by a margin of 3,66,594 votes which was 37.53% of the total votes polled in the constituency. NCP secured a vote share of 53.5% in the seat.
