In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Godse Hemant Tukaram of SS won in this seat defeating Sameer Magan Bhujbal of NCP by a margin of 2,92,204 votes which was 26.06% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 50.23% in 2019 in this seat.
