In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Rahul Ramesh Shewale of SS won in this seat defeating Eknath M Gaikwad of INC by a margin of 1,52,139 votes which was 19.08% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 53.25% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Rahul Ramesh Shewale of SS emerged victorious in this seat beating Eknath M Gaikwad of INC by a margin of 1,38,180 votes which was 17.97% of the total votes polled in the constituency. SS secured a vote share of 49.58% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Eknath M Gaikwad of INC won this seat beating Suresh Anant Gambhir of SS by a margin of 75,706 votes which was 12.64% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 43% in the seat.
