In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Poonam Mahajan of BJP won in this seat defeating Dutt Priya Sunil of INC by a margin of 1,30,005 votes which was 14.42% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 53.97% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Poonam Mahajan of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dutt Priya Sunil of INC by a margin of 1,86,771 votes which was 22.1% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 56.61% in the seat.
