In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Shrirang Appa Chandu Barne of SS won in this seat defeating Parth Ajit Pawar of NCP by a margin of 2,15,913 votes which was 15.77% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 52.62% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Appa Alias Shrirang Chandu Barne of SS emerged victorious in this seat beating Jagtap Laxmanbhau Pandurang of PWPI by a margin of 1,57,397 votes which was 13.41% of the total votes polled in the constituency. SS secured a vote share of 43.63% in the seat.
