In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Sudhakar Tukaram Shrangare of BJP won in this seat defeating Kamant Machhindra Gunwantrao of INC by a margin of 2,89,111 votes which was 24.57% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 56.15% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Sunil Baliram Gaikwad of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bansode Dattatray Gunderao of INC by a margin of 2,53,395 votes which was 23.97% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 58.32% in the seat.
