In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Anil Firojiya of BJP won in this seat defeating Babulal Malviya of INC by a margin of 3,65,637 votes which was 29.19% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 63.18% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Prof Chintamani Malviya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Premchand Guddu of INC by a margin of 3,09,663 votes which was 30.47% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 63.08% in the seat.
In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Guddu Premchand of INC won this seat beating Dr Satyanarayan Jatiya of BJP by a margin of 15,841 votes which was 2.37% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 48.97% in the seat.
