In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Krishna Pal Singh 'Dr K P Yadav' of BJP won in this seat defeating Jyotiraditya M Scindia of INC by a margin of 1,25,549 votes which was 10.65% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 52.1% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Jyotiraditya M Scindia of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Jaibhansingh Pawaiya of BJP by a margin of 1,20,792 votes which was 12.37% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC secured a vote share of 52.94% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia of INC won this seat beating DrNarottam Mishra of BJP by a margin of 2,49,737 votes which was 38.42% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 63.59% in the seat.
