In the April 17, 2021 bypolls for Belgaum Lok Sabha constituency, Angadi Mangal Suresh of BJP won from this seat defeating Satish Laxmanarao Jarkiholi of INC by a margin of 5,240 votes which was 0.51% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 43.07% in the bye-elections.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Angadi Suresh Channabasappa of BJP won in this seat defeating Dr Sadhunavar of INC by a margin of 3,91,304 votes which was 32.47% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 63.12% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Angadi Suresh Channabasappa of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Laxmi R Hebbalkar of INC by a margin of 75,860 votes which was 7.03% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 51.4% in the seat.
