In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Dabhi Bharatsinhji Shankarji of BJP won in this seat defeating Jagdish Thakor of INC by a margin of 1,93,879 votes which was 17.21% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 56.13% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Liladharbhai Khodaji Vaghela of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Rathod Bhavsinhbhai Dahyabhai of INC by a margin of 1,38,719 votes which was 14.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 54.25% in the seat.
