In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava of BJP won in this seat defeating Sherkhan Abdulsakur Pathan of INC by a margin of 3,34,214 votes which was 29.07% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 55.43% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Vasava Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Patel Jayeshbhai Ambalalbhai (Jayesh Kaka) of INC by a margin of 1,53,273 votes which was 14.46% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 51.77% in the seat.
